I drew this in my sketchbook a month or two ago, inked it by hand, then finally coloured it up in photoshop tonight. who are you and what do you do?

hanging out with a friend today who mentioned she was trying to spend at least half an hour a day drawing. I thought that sounded like a good idea. here is my half hour, at least, drawing. I don't know why Jim looks so serious. Maybe he takes cleanliness to new heights. I, for one, never bemoaned mopping when it came to the list of duties associated with certain jobs. It's relaxing. A little back and forth, some slop slop splash and voila--things are gleaming, back to dreaming and the whole world that you're currently existing in is all prepped for a brand new day. Yep. Mopping. Kinda satisfying. Cleaning toilets? Not so much.

Transit. Gotta love it.

The topic was the addition of fare gates on transit and it had to be family friendly. I like families. I'm friendly. This is what I came up with. Man I stare at a computer too much. but I sure do like drawing.

p.s. my first time using pantone colors and channels as a working layer. Holy F*^% converting them to web specific files was a headache. Things I don't understand but wish I did.

Our First Short!

So I got an amazing job with a small start-up company five months ago and this is our first piece. We completed it some months back, but as I'm forever the pRoCrAstinATOR when it comes to blog posts, (and dishes), here it is now. The pics I chose for the faces were not the best, but c'mon, I animated, modeled and rendered a 1/4 of it, give me a break...Make your own video with your and friends and family at www.jambino.com and let your inner animator/casting director show off. Play it for kids and they'll love you forever. Play it for adults and they'll think you're cute. And that's all that matters, really. ^^
